Resin Veneers

Resin veneers are one of the techniques of aesthetic dentistry which is usually simple, fast, non-invasive and economical. The material used to make the veneers is similar to that of the “white pulps” and is called composite resin. Of course, the technique of handling the resin during the creation of the faces – layering technique – differs from that of sealing.

By choosing resin veneers, we can correct specific “imperfections”, but for this reason, you also consider a conservative solution which, it should be noted, is almost always completed in one session.

With resin veneers we can:

  • Reduce the gap between thin teeth (thinning teeth) or even eliminate it if it is small.
  • To correct or cover discolorations.
  • To change or correct the shape of our teeth.
  • To straighten slightly crooked teeth in order to give our patient as much dental arch as possible.
  • To restore broken corners of teeth.
  • To give a uniform appearance to teeth that have multiple fillings – this happens mainly in front teeth.

The strength of the faces is proportional to the materials and the technique used. However, we must emphasize that in cases of patients with severe roaring, resin veneers may not be the solution of choice.
